This blog will be about:
A journey of a common Indonesian girl in Beijing. Back at home, she was the typical Indonesian girl. She lived with her parents and got so much attention from them. When she moved to Beijing at the age of 18, things changed and she started to live independently, without family or friends. In this 4 years, she learned a lot, changed a lot. You will also learn how she fell in love with this city, THE Jing.
Why Putri Peking:
Well, I just liked alliteration/rhyme. I like 'Peking' better than 'Beijing', and was thinking what alliterated/rhymed with Peking. And in few seconds the word 'Putri', means Princess came out of sudden. And why not Peking Princess? Again, I like the word Putri better, indicates that the Princess is an Indonesian. :)
The Goal of this blog:
Firstly, for fun. Secondly, to tell people how it's like to live in Beijing. All of the stories are non-fictional (unless otherwise stated). And although this is not the main goal, but I wish someone would want to publish this story =D.
Posts will mainly be in Indonesian.
